With the need of an hour in the vicinity, Swayam Siddhi Mitra Sangh’s Degree College has been started in August 2009 by visionary management of Swayam Siddhi Mitra Sangh Educational Trust. . The College not only focuses on quality education but also aims at holistic development of the students.

The College is a four storey building with state of the art infrastructure comprising of huge & spacious classrooms, Computer laboratory, Cultural Activity Hall, open play ground, Library with reading space.

The College has student and staff friendly environment. Infrastructure of the college is designed in the interest of students and staff.  Spacious classrooms with good ventilation and comfortable seating arrangements. Classrooms are well equipped with whiteboards/ blackboards, overhead projectors. Each floor has washrooms for male and female, notice boards in such a way so as to make both the students and the staff convenient to use.

Presently, our college offers B.Com., BMS and M.Com (Advanced Accountancy) courses affiliated to University of Mumbai. In addition to this, college has tie up with multiple organisations for Add-on Certificate courses. College also has strong NSS and DLLE Unit, Cultural and Art Cell which conducts various programs to bring out hidden talent, Career Counselling Cell, Swayam Siddhi Incubation Cell to promote entrepreneurship among students, efficient Placement Cell, Women Development Cell, Mentoring Cell and Saturday Corporate Guest lectures series cell which are in alignment of the Vision and Mission of the college.

College has excellent examination results of B.Com. and BMS in the University of Mumbai. Faculties strive hard by conducting, revision after each Module and remedial lectures for weaker students and conducting Prelim after completion of Syllabus.

College conducts its annual intercollegiate flagship event “RUPANTARAN” which is popular in colleges of Mumbai University. College promotes students to participate in Intercollegiate sports and cultural events conducted by University.

College has well qualified, efficient and self motivated staff. College management is keen in overall development of faculties. Faculties are motivated to pursue Ph.D., publish and present research papers at National and International conferences, participate in Workshops and Faculty Development Programmes.
